First Fridays Featured on BYU Weekly

Oct 12, 2012 Comments Off by

Reporter Angela Monetierth featured our new monthly First Friday program in BYU Weekly this week. Starting the program at the beginning of this semester, the BYU Museum of Art plans to continue to open its doors every first Friday of the month to welcome all who wish to view the art in a more social atmosphere.

While the Museum of Art features several world-class exhibitions and provides many other education programs, the First Friday program was created to encourage students and locals to enjoy art socially.

Each event will feature a different exhibition and include unique entertainment and refreshments. Museum educators work hard to make each event exciting, new, and innovative. Monetierth reports, “On a typical event night, you will see dancing, music, friends and don’t forget the art.” To watch the full feature, watch this week’s BYU Weekly.
