March’s First Friday: Southwestern Spirit

Feb 27, 2013 Comments Off by

March’s First Friday will feature the southwest! Southwestern Spirit includes dance performances, cowboy poetry, art and food inspired by the current exhibition: People in a Hard Land: Iconic Images of Life in the Southwest. Attendees enjoyed entertainment by Cowboy Poet Tyler Guy and the Buckaroo Balladeers, the Living Legends dancers and Minerva Teichert Storyteller Anna Hargadon.

First Fridays at the MOA occur each month to showcase current MOA art exhibitions in conjunction with dance, music or another creative medium. Come enjoy a lively evening of art each month!
