Come listen to poets responding to MOA artwork! There is a long tradition of writers and poets responding to art, and we are excited to have our second annual live ekphrastic event at our museum this semester. Join us we listen to BYU student and faculty poets read their work in front of the artworks that inspired their poems!

 

* Call for Papers *

BYU students and faculty are invited to submit an original poem responding to ANY work currently on display in the MOA. Poems can be any style but are limited to two pages in length. Museum staff and faculty from the BYU Department of English will select among the submissions for the Poetry Jam event.

Submissions due by Thursday, March 1

Student submissions should include your major and year in school, and faculty submissions should include the name of your department.
