K–12 Programs

Brigham Young University’s Museum of Art (MOA) offers a variety of creative and exciting educational programs for students and educators in grades K–12. The MOA’s K–12 programs are designed to provide students and their teachers with an opportunity to experience art in a friendly environment.

School Programs

Custom and Culture: Exploring World Communities through Art is an exciting 2-hour program for K-6 students at the MOA consisting of a guided tour and hands-on art making activity. MORE

Scheduled tours of current exhibitions are available for K-12 classes visiting the MOA. MORE

Evening for Educators

Evening for Educators is an opportunity for school educators to participate in hands-on workshops and exhibition tours in order to assist them with incorporating the MOA’s exhibitions and programs into the classroom. MORE

Resources

The MOA produces Education Packets in conjunction with major exhibitions that give teachers ideas on how to teach key themes and concepts in the classroom. MORE
