This stunning exhibition comes from the Georgia Museum of Art after its premier showing at the University of Georgia during the 1996 Olympic games. Drawn from public and private collections, the works demonstrate the international character of Impressionism as manifest in California during the1920s and 1930s. The exhibition also explores the interesting interaction of Modernism with the modern world.
Artists represented include Guy Rose, Franz Bischoff, Louis Betts, Granville Rochard, Benjamin Brown, Anna Hills and Alson Clark. The exhibition comprises 65 master oil paintings.
