Highlighting the MOA’s new acquisition, this exhibit held the murals Minerva Teichert painted for Dr. Minnie Howard, and other works completed during the early years of the artist’s career. In 1917, Teichert was invited to live and work with Dr. Minnie Howard, medical doctor and Idaho Arts chair. During her stay, Dr. Howard commissioned Teichert to paint a mural for the dining room of her home. The paintings were a mural series of scenes near Fort Hall, Idaho, known as The Bottoms.
