Krisanne Hastings, MOA Educator: School and Family Programs, has several years experience working in museums and art education. She holds a BA in Art History and Curatorial Studies from Brigham Young University and an MA in History of Art from University of York, England. Before and after her graduate studies, Krisanne worked in the education and development departments of several museums—The Portland Art Museum, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Art Museum of South Texas, and The Salt Lake Art Center. In addition, Krisanne taught art for two years in Seoul, Korea at a private arts-based kindergarten and led community art classes for children in Guanajuato, Mexico as well as Portland, Oregon. She currently plans and implements school and family programming at Brigham Young University’s Museum of Art.
