Winter has a way of both covering and revealing. Trees stripped of their summer foliage lay bare. They stand like slender testaments of resilience and patience. At their feet, snow hides plants, dirt and other bits of life, allowing them to rest until the earth turns toward the sun again.
Maybe in our winter, we too feel revealed and covered. In this season, core beliefs are clear and time-tested. Our journey is known, having been lived. And in our minds, often covered with the glint of white, lay the little bits of our lives, the multitude of forgotten details, resting, until we too turn toward the sun and a new life begins.
