Adventures in Art Session I (5 -7 years)
Saturday, April 13, 2013 | 10:00 AM—11:30 AMOn the second or third Saturday of their choice, families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project. Adventures in Art: MOA Family Workshops is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Two Adventures in Art sessions are offered for families with children ages 5 -7 yrs and 8 -11 yrs.
Adventures in Art I (5 -7 years): 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.
Adventures in Art II (8 -11 years): 12:00 noon -1:30 p.m.
This Winter Adventures in Art will use games, questions, sensory activities, art making and storytelling to explore the following exhibitions:
January: We Could Be Heroes: The Mythology of Monsters and Heroes in Contemporary Art
February: Alex Webb: The Suffering of Light: Thirty Years of Photographs
March: michael whiting: 8-bit modern
April: Shaping America: Selected Works from the Permanent Collection of American Art.
