Nature Transformed: The Art of Patrick Dougherty and Danae Mattes

Marvel at artworks by Patrick Dougherty and Danae Mattes. Dougherty’s grand installations, made from thousands of interwoven tree saplings, celebrate the repetitive toil of agrarian life and the Zen of handcrafted workmanship. Danae Mattes’ evaporation pools elicit the deep connection we feel with nature’s most essential, life-giving element—water. In the workshops, you will discover ways to mold nature’s bounteous materials into new and captivating art forms. Refreshments will be served.
