Art history is filled with women whose artwork was not properly appreciated. The MOA celebrates the works of the many women who have contributed to our permanent collection, and this Gallery Talk is dedicated to them. As part of BYU Women's Conference's 50th Anniversary, MOA Director Janalee Emmer and MOA Curator Maddie Blonquist are hosting a special event highlighting works by women featured in two exhibitions: Earthbound and Heavenward and From the Vault. You'll see masterpieces by artists like Minerva Teichert, Annie Poon, Florence Ware, Paige Crosland Anderson, and more. As you do so, feel free to ask questions with two experts and see these artworks in a brand new light.
This event is free and open to all. You do not need to be registered for Women's Conference to attend. If you wish to attend other Women's Conference sessions, you may register here.
