Dr. Marian Wardle received her Ph.D. in art history from the University of Maryland at College Park. She has been Curator of American Art at the Brigham Young University Museum of Art since the year 2000 and is an adjunct faculty member in Art History and Curatorial Studies. She is the author of Minerva Teichert: Pageants in Paint (BYU Press, 2007) and editor and co-author of American Women Modernists: The Legacy of Robert Henri, 1910-1945 (Rutgers University Press, 2005) and The Weir Family, 1820-1920: Expanding the Traditions of American Art (University Press of New England, 2011).
