APRIL 25-JUNE 8, 1996

This exhibition celebrates the landscape of Utah and commemorates the centennial of Utah’s statehood. The works were carefully selected from over 40 collections including the holdings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Museum of Church History and Art. The work of 30 of Utah’s most renowned painters this century is represented, portraying the beauty of the land in all its seasons, as well as revealing the individual artists’ feeling and attitudes toward their subject.
