November 3, 1999 – March 18, 2000
Featuring the sculptures and work of Brower Hatcher, Richard Hunt, and Judy Plaff. This exhibit helps emphasize the blur between the mediums of sculpture and painting expanding the boundaries that previously existed. The work of these three sculptors runs the gamut of some of the most significant directions the sculptors have taken over the latter half of the nineteenth century. From the interconnections of abstraction, and the figurative, painting and sculpture, to the joining of the work with the very space in which it is displayed; all three of these artists create works that rely on very powerful combinations.
