Brigham Young University is fortunate to be one of six stops on the itinerary for this unique traveling exhibition of one of Britain’s great collections of Victorian art. Royal Holloway College acquired and began exhibiting this wonderful array of works by outstanding nineteenth-century British artists when many of the paintings were new. Their themes range from biblical and medieval stories to contemporary issues of urbanization and industrialization. Many of the paintings give particular attention to details of costume and setting, giving color and richness to the works.
