The Family Arts Festival is now Summer at the MOA, a summer-long celebration where kids of all ages can play, create, and explore as they interact with MOA masterpieces.
On Tuesday, July 14, your family is invited to come learn from the masters! Join us for an engaging, two-hour class inspired by the techniques of master artists. Using colored pencils, participants will learn foundational skills in color mixing and effective approaches to drawing—building confidence even when the process feels challenging.
Following the guided instruction, the remainder of the session will take place in the galleries, where participants will create studies inspired by the museum’s collection.
This event is free, but registration via Eventbrite is required and will go live in June.
Recommended ages: 10 and up
