Post by Isabelle Kramer, MOA Marketing Student Employee

Before you hit the road for the summer, be sure and stop by before the semester is over! You don’t want to miss these mind-bending, show-stopping masterpieces, and most of them will be gone by the time you come back in the Fall!

So…how do you complete the MOA bucket list? Easy. Step one:Grab a friend. Or two or three.
Step two: Head over to Instagram (@byumoa) and click on our “MOA Bucket List” story. (Or print out the list below.)
Step three: Check off each exhibition or event you attend before finals are over!

THE MOA END-OF-SEMESTER BUCKET LIST

+ Visit the M.C. Escher exhibition, M.C. Escher: Other Worlds, and prepare to enter a world of never-ending staircases, infinite patterns and a self-playing Baldessin piano with Disklavier technology. Take a photo by the entrance and tag us @byumoa for a chance to be featured on our page!

+ If stained glass has always fascinated you, come check out our Tiffany Glass exhibition-Tiffany Glass: Painting with Color and Light. Not only is it chock-full of beautifully exquisite lamps, there is an educational space within the gallery that explains just how those ornate lamps are made!
+ Our Tiffany lamps are sort of like mini-kaleidoscopes, but did you know that we have a gigantic kaleidoscope in our basement? Let your inner kindergartener out at one of our most popular exhibits, We Revolve Ceaseless by artist Aundrea Frahm.
+ A pretzel apocalypse. Talking popcorn. Supermarket family history and bathroom selfies. Curious? Swing by the Nina Katchadourian: Curiouser exhibition and see these modern masterpieces and more!
+ Want to learn more about our Nina Katchadourian: Curiouser exhibition? Come by the MOA on April 11 at 12:10 for a free gallery tour of the exhibition!
+ Take a photo with Gabriel Dawe’s Plexus no. 29! This stunning rainbow made of 80 miles of string is suspended in the main atrium of the MOA. Tag @byumoa in your Plexus selfie!
