The girdle and jewelry worn by this Nadugopala are more pronounced. The figure gazes forward with a bemused expression, pleased at his triumph in obtaining the prized ball of butter. Red and green hues of paint are evident on the sculpture, remnants of the paint that would have been placed on the deity by the worshipper as part of puja.
