April 7 is World Health Day. Celebrated annually on the anniversary World Health Organization’s founding, World Health Day is meant to educate and bring awareness to issues of health around the world. Each year, the day is given a theme. The theme for 2017 is “Depression: Let’s Talk,” to bring awareness to depression and drive action into helping those who suffer from depression. Past themes have brought awareness to a wide variety of health-related issues, including diabetes, food safety, insect-borne diseases, and hospital safety.
