In MOA Artwork of the Week

Paul Bowen (1934-2014), Victorian II (A/P), c.1973, serigraph, 33 x 32 inches. Brigham Young University Museum of Art, gift of Mrs. J.B. Wagner, 1984.

Sir Alfred Hitchcock, English film director, was born on this day in 1899. He is most famous for his horror and thriller films including PsychoRear Window, and Vertigo, among others.  This piece by Paul Bowen of a Victorian house is reminiscent of the famous house in the Hitchcock film Psycho.
