FHE at the MOA in Fall 2020

Teichert, Jesus at the Home of Mary and Martha

Because of precautions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the MOA will not offer FHE tours on Monday evenings. In addition, the MOA will close at 6 PM on Monday evenings. But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy MOA-inspired Family Home Evening!

Even though there aren’t formal FHE tours at the MOA, we’ve created and curated resources to help you build, supplement, and inspire your own FHE! All of these resources can be found on the MOA website at moa.byu.edu/fhe-at-the-moa. Included are tours, artwork highlights, and exhibitions, all to inform your MOA-inspired Family Home Evening.

Some favorite resources include MOA Director Mark Magleby’s mini-tour of Minerva Teichert’s painting Jesus at the Home of Mary and Martha, a Gallery Talk of religious exhibition Rend the Heavens: Intersections of the Human and Divine, and an artist lecture by Brian Kershisnik about his piece Nativity.

In addition, you can find additional MOA resources and inspiration on the BYU MOA app. The app is filled with stories, audio, video, photos, and more to supplement your MOA or FHE experience.
