Today is International Museum Day! First celebrated in 1977, International Museum Day was created by the International Council of Museums with the intent of bringing awareness to museums’ role in preserving, educating, and developing communities around the world. Today’s artwork of the day illustrates the role of the BYU Museum of Art—preserving and showcasing the work of artists from around the world.
Celebrate this year’s International Museum Day by visiting and supporting your favorite museum! We hope your day includes a visit to the BYU Museum of Art! For the BYU MOA’s hours, click here.
