MOA offers U.S. debut of popular religious paintings

BYU MOA anticipates record-breaking museum attendance for U.S. debut of popular religious paintings from Europe

PROVO, UT – The Brigham Young University (BYU) Museum of Art (MOA) announced plans this month to bring nearly two dozen religious paintings by Carl Bloch, Heinrich Hofmann and Frans Schwartz to Utah – most of which have never been on view in the United States – for an all-new exhibition opening in November, titled Sacred Gifts: The Religious Art of Carl Bloch, Heinrich Hofmann and Frans Schwartz.
