FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

BYU MOA TO HOST GALLERY RECEPTION IN COLLABORATION WITH BYU ARTS CONCERT FEATURING PHOTOGRAPHS OF EDWARD BURTYNSKY

PROVO, UT – The Brigham Young University Museum of Art (MOA) will host a reception Wednesday, September 25 from 6-7 p.m. directly preceding a concert by Amsterdam-based music group, Hexnut, which will feature music inspired by selected Burtynsky works.

The reception, held on the Lower Level of the MOA, will provide an opportunity for visitors to participate in gallery discussions with museum curators and educators about works from Edward Burtynsky: The Industrial Sublime, an exhibition currently on view in the MOA. Refreshments will also be served.

While visitors to the reception do not need to attend the concert, Museum staff hope the opportunity offers concert attendees a chance to familiarize themselves with Burtynsky
