Today's Artwork of the Day is a highlight from the MOA's photography collection. This photograph by American artist Richard Misrach was taken on the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats near the Great Salt Lake in Utah. Misrach is widely considered as one of the elite photographers of the 20th century. The photograph captures the isolated desolation of the landscape. The Bonneville Salt Flats are famous as a site for racing at the Bonneville Speedway—this photograph showcases one of the high-speed cars at the Flats.
