Scripture narratives instruct and reveal fundamental aspects of human identity and existence, our individual and collective purpose and potential. Scripture yields itself in layers of understanding, allowing readers to return repeatedly and find inspired insights and new meaning.

Similarly, many artists utilize distinctive artistic approaches to depict scripture in symbolic and metaphoric visual language that offer new interpretations on familiar passages—personal perspectives about doctrinal teachings and their application as we navigate the path of life. Their work reminds us that our pursuit for spiritual understanding is an undertaking that requires contemplation, effort and open hearts.
