Maynard Dixon (1875-1946), 'Remembrance of Tusayan,' No. 2, 1924, oil on canvas, 20 x 30 inches. Brigham Young University Museum of Art, 1998.

Maynard Dixon’s artwork has left impressions on other artists ever since it was created. We’ve invited several artists to share how Dixon’s work has impacted their own. At this event, you’ll meet artists Russell Case, Abigale Palmer, Sarah Anne Wilson, Gary Ernest Smith, and David Meikle as they discuss Dixon’s life and legacy and the way he changed Western art forever.
