Nestled against the foothills of a wintry mountain range, a barn and a cluster of silos float above a field of snowy white. While the earth sleeps beneath a layer of frozen winter, the bright sun illuminates the scene reminding the viewer that warmth and light persist even in the coldest of times. The central barn in the picture, with its brick red walls, seems a forerunner of the Spring, reminding us of the world of color that will return soon at a time of joyous renewal.
