You could win cash prizes of up to $100 in the Museum of Art Research Contest! We’re looking for students to pitch short research proposals to study aspects of James Tissot’s ‘Men and Women of the Old Testament’ series—currently on display in the Prophets, Priests, and Queens exhibition. Here are the rules:
• Proposals should be no more than 800-1000 words
• BYU undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to submit proposals from the perspective of any academic discipline, including Humanities, Art History, Religion, Ancient Near Eastern Studies, Hebrew languages, Archaeology, Anthropology, French Studies, and more!
• Proposals should be reviewed by a BYU faculty member prior to submission
• Selected winners will receive cash prizes and may have an opportunity to present their proposal at the exhibition symposium on October 20 and/or have their work shared on the MOA website
