DEADLINE EXTENDED - Call for Papers: 'Spain and the Hispanic World'

BYU students are invited to submit proposals to present at a symposium on April 11 & 12.

BYU students are invited to submit proposals to present at an art history symposium at the Museum of Art on April 11 & 12. Entries should focus on artworks from the MOA exhibition Spain and the Hispanic World, opening at the MOA on January 26, 2024.

Proposals should be 250-500 words and include:

  • An abstract of the presentation
  • An outline of key points
  • A brief bibliography of major sources

Selected proposals will present at a MOA Symposium in April 2024. Presentations my address any number of topics related to the exhibition. We encourage proposals that emphasize unique insights from scholars and artists in any relevant discipline, including (but not limited to): art, art history, art education, curatorial studies, classical studies, European studies, geography, history, interdisciplinary humanities, Latin American studies, and Spanish.
