As a part of the Education Team, Connie oversees the family programs here at the MOA. She earned her BA in elementary education at UVU and her MA in art education at BYU. She taught 5th grade and then worked as an elementary art teacher for 13 years. During this time she taught at BYU as an adjunct instructor for the Art Education department. Prior to joining the MOA she worked as an instructional coach for elementary art teachers.
Connie has a passion for opening doors into the world of art for people of all ages and believes that there is an inherent benefit people can experience engaging in the arts. She loves creating her own artwork and writing poetry on vintage typewriters. Her favorite people on the planet are her family.
