In Word & Deed: Five Centuries of Religious Art from the Collection of the BYU Museum of Art

Through Summer 2016

This depiction of a youthful Christ working in his Judean home exemplifies the long-standing artistic pursuit explored in In Word and Deed – to translate narratives and stories from the Bible into depictions that reflect and inspire imitation of the Word.

In connection with the new long-term exhibition, In Word and Deed: Five Centuries of Religious Art, the MOA will showcase original works on paper in the Print Study Room including Old Master woodcuts, etchings, and modern graphics on a rotating schedule for open viewing and study.
