Italian artist Stephano della Bella was born on this day in 1610. Della Bella was a prolific artist, creating thousands of prints, etchings, and drawings in his lifetime. His subject matter was vast, as he created scenes of the court, of the countryside, and genre scenes. Della Bella's work transitioned from Mannerist to Baroque, and later in his career, he was influenced by Dutch artists including Rembrandt.
