BYU MOA anticipates record-breaking museum attendance for U.S. debut of popular religious paintings from Europe
PROVO, UT – The Brigham Young University (BYU) Museum of Art (MOA) announced plans this month to bring nearly two dozen religious paintings by Carl Bloch, Heinrich Hofmann and Frans Schwartz to Utah – most of which have never been on view in the United States – for an all-new exhibition opening in November, titled Sacred Gifts: The Religious Art of Carl Bloch, Heinrich Hofmann and Frans Schwartz.
“This exhibition will explore and celebrate the many precious and miraculous gifts represented by these acclaimed and beloved paintings,” said Dawn Pheysey, Head Curator at the BYU MOA. “From the paintings
