Open Studio – Elevating the Ordinary

Saturday, February 03
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
BYU Museum of Art

What is art? Join us for Open Studio in February to discuss that question! We will discover everyday objects that have been elevated to art in the new Spain and the Hispanic World exhibit. Afterwards, using our observations, we will make our own artistic everyday items from clay.

Each month in this free-choice, self-guided art-making experience for all ages, you’ll be inspired by different artworks on display, then create your own artistic responses in the MOA studio! Join us any time between 11 AM & 1 PM to participate. All are welcome, and registration is not required.

We typically hold new Open Studio activities on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, so drop by every month for a new activity featuring different artworks and materials!
