More Than Art

In a world full of chaos and uncertainty, make it the best. Vik Muniz, a Brazilian artist, takes art to a whole new level of diversity. Muniz takes art to a point of inspiration. There is a deeper meaning to be more aware, more insightful, and more inspired.

At the museum we believe in coming in to be inspired with growth, change, dialogue, and hopefully developing a larger sense of love for art. Muniz’s collection being displayed here gives us that exact reason to do and be more. He shows us that we can be inspired in more ways than one, and anything we see can give us reason to jump out of our comfort zone to create something more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. We do not have to show everyone that we can do everything, but we can show them that we are being creative and inspired. This does not have to be with art itself; it really can be with anything that comes through our mind and thoughts. Muniz is more than a creator but a person who looks at the ordinary to create the extra-ordinary - for us to look more deeply because “it is more than meets the eye!” As you come to visit our new exhibition by Vik Muniz, I hope that you feel encouraged to look more deeply into your life and become INSPIRED to go after your dreams, be unafraid of change, and to be exhilarated by everything surrounding you.
