Join Canticum Lucis at the MOA for a presentation of modern choral music on the theme of flight and ascension. We hope you will join us for a wonderful evening exploring various facets of the ways the human soul takes flight and ascends to heaven through the music of composers such as Elaine Hagenberg, Bob Chilcott, Kim André Arnesen, Mark Hayes, and local Utah composer Lane Johnson.

About the Choir:

Canticum Lucis (meaning “song of light” in Latin) was founded in the summer of 2013 as a musical outlet for choral musicians living in the Provo, UT area during the summer. Its aim is to provide its performers and audience members alike with the opportunity to share and experience light through impactful music. The choir’s repertoire draws upon a wide variety of time periods and styles throughout musical history — everything from the Renaissance through today, from great classical choral works to modern masterpieces.
