No Place Like Home: Selections from the Sue and John Wieland Collection of Contemporary Art

SEPTEMBER 18 – DECEMBER 5, 2015

No Place Like Home features an extensive selection of paintings, sculptures, photographs, mixed-media pieces and films by contemporary artists including Roy Lichtenstein, Cindy Sherman, Ai Weiwei, Rachel Whiteread, Ed Ruscha, Martha Rosler, Hubbard / Birchler, and Wolfgang Laib.

Featuring contemporary works from the impressive collection of Sue and John Wieland, No Place Like Home is an examination of the diverse rituals that define a dwelling, the physical representation of the house, and the universal desire to frame home as the cosmic center.

The works of art in this exhibition have been generously loaned by Sue and John Wieland, owners and founders of the world-class wareHOUSE collection of contemporary art. Additional support was provided by long-time MOA supporters Curtis and Ann Atkisson.
