Packer, former President and member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, was born on this day in 1924. In his professional life, President Packer was a seminary and institute teacher, and later part of the administrative bodies of education for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He passed away on July 3, 2015.
