PRINT STUDY ROOM
The MOA Print Study Room provides public access to works in the Museum’s permanent collection that are not currently on view in an effort to strengthen the museum’s bond to the University community and forge new relationships with scholars, educators, students, and artists who want to learn from or teach with objects in the Museum’s collection.
The Print Study Room is open to individuals and groups of up to 15 by advanced appointment unless open dates have been designated for specific prints.
PROTOCOLS FOR BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT
• Prior to making an appointment search the collection online to select the work or works to be requested.
• Please note the 9-digit Accession Number related to the object or objects you wish to request.
• Contact the Collections Manager (tiffany_wixom@byu.edu), listing the work or works requested (by Accession Number) and the desired appointment time. (Please note that during high usage periods the lead time for an appointment can be 2-4 weeks.)
• The Collections Manager will review the work or works requested and the Print Study Room schedule and will then contact you with either confirmation of an appointment or available alternatives.
